2+1=6? Say what

(Now that I’ve gifted the secret knitting, I can tell ya’ll what I’ve been up to!) I know my math skills are atrocious but stick with me here. I started off with 2 skeins of Socks that Rock Medium weight in Boysenberry purchased at Maryland Sheep and Wool 2006 and 1 skein of Rhodonite purchased at Rhinebeck 2006. Some of these socks have never been blogged about. (sneaky, sneaky!)

I’ve been tagged!

AmandaJ, Heather, and Witchypoo tagged me! Since 3 of ya got me, I guess i have to comply.

Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. You need to tag 7 others and list their names on your blog. Remember to leave a comment for them letting them know they have been tagged and to read your blog. So here we go.

  1. Each of my kids have been born in a different hospital. Corra was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Bryce was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Allysa was born in Dubois Regional Medical Center East here in  Dubois, Pennsylvania. And Kailey was born at West Dubois Regional Medical Center.
  2. I don’t often wear make up, but I keep buying it. I even used to sell Mary Kay back in 1999.
  3. I went to summer school because I failed Earth Science. I wasn’t about to deal with the troll that taught the class for another semester.
  4. Allegra is the only allergy medication that works for me. Allegra 24 hours wears off to early, Zyterc and Clariton are like taking a sugar pill.
  5. I prefer my pancakes without syrup and my waffles with syrup.
  6. I love Coke and hate Pepsi. Pepsi is waaaay to sweet for me.
  7. I used to sell Stampin’ Up! Products, I enjoyed it.
  8. (Since Witchypoo tagged me with the 8 one) Mostly I’ve hit small game animals with my van/car. I’ve come *thiiiiiiis* close to hitting a deer with my car, and have run over a skunk, groundhog and a squirrel. (The squirrel really broke me up, I was bawling when I arrived at work that day. My boss must have thought I was seriously nutto! My Aunt Adair has had pet squirrels in the past, that her and my Uncle have raised because the mother squirell was killed by a car.) Watch me hit some monster deer or bear tomorrow! Corra’s class is going on a field trip, I get to go. And I am STOKED! Seriously.

I don’t know who to tag for this, because its been floating around everywhere, and I can’t think of who hasn’t done it yet. So if you haven’t yet. Indulge me, will ya? 😉

and so this isn’t a pictureless post here is a picture of Kailey bean

it was a good day

Yesterday was a good day. Allysa, Kailey and I went to the Waynesburg Sheep and Fiber Fest. It took us a while to get there about 3 hours. But It was all worth it in the end. During the drive Allysa kept asking me if we where at sheep land yet. We arrived at “sheep land” around 1.  After I parked the van and we walked up to the festival Allysa proclaimed “It’s so cute! I love it!” It was a very small festival, but I really enjoyed myself and I think the girls did too! I saw Julia again, met Jenn and Jenn’s hubby Tom.  Allysa, Kailey and I walked around looking at everything, listing to the band that was playing before we left…

Will we go back next year? hmmm…. I think so.

~ thank you everyone for welcoming me to my new blog. I still don’t know what is going to with the blogspirit one, and I’m waiting for Mike to get home to see if he can mess around with it. (Or entertain Kaiely so I can!)

New Beginnings

Cheers! Here’s to new beginnings, hopefully this will be the last move. If you found me from my blogspirit blog, I can honestly tell you that I don’t know what happened there. Mike wanted me to give them more time. Well, one thing he can tell you about me, and something most of you know about me. Is that I’m pretty darn impatient. I don’t like waiting! The oddest thing about about my blogspirit blog was that even though you couldn’t see my blog, I could still access the administrative side. Odd, isn’t it? I hope I can import all my old posts from blogspirit to here, I’ve asked Mike to help me. But if anyone knows how to, please clue me in. Because as much as I love my Mike. He is a busy guy, and I’d like it done soon. ya know?

I’m going to mess around with this blog a little more, soon there will be a fiber post and the 7 random things meme I was tagged with.
