Now, I’ve asked my Mom for my Dad’s foot measurements three times in the past year. I think she’ll scream if I ask her for them again. I have written them down before and put them in a “safe place” and promptly lost them. Darn house elves! Hopefully this is a “safe place” to save my pattern.
Dad’s fit well socks sized to fit a foot with a 8.5″ foot circumference. The cuff is 10″ long. I have enough yarn left over to have knit the cuff 1″ longer. Please let me know if I’ve made a mistake re-writing my pattern, or if there is something you don’t understand.

Those socks came out great! Thanks for the pattern. It would be perfect for my husband’s Christmas socks.
Good thinking storing something on your site that will be on the net for eons! Nice looking socks. I am sure that Mom and Dad will love theirs when you get a chance to do them. After I finish this pair of socks, I was thinking about my cold feet this winter and am going to make myself a pair of clogs. I did hubby some and he loves them. So now it’s my turn!
This just may well be the perfect pattern I was looking for!
Thanks for sharing.
I found that I try to record all my finished pattern notes on the ‘net (and now Ravelry too). That way if I can’t find my paper notes, it’s always on the ‘net!
Beautiful socks!! Thanks for sharing!
Those are some good looking socks! Now you need a category that’s DAD”S SOCKS. 😉
Dream in Color Smooshy is me new fave sock yarn, your socks came out great!
Thanks for sharing. Several of the 8 man feet I live with are feeling neglected because I only knit for me. I’ll give this pattern a try. Now I just have to find some manly yarn…
I really like how you did the heel flap. I’ve not seen it done that way before and will have to give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing the pattern!
