Bittersweet

Its been a long time since I’ve posted, and so much has happened. And at times it is hard to find words to describe anything. Some good, some bad, I’m sorry this is so vague but I can’t get into it. I’m trying to be optimistic, and see the light at the end of the tunnel. But we all know that with life’s curve balls that can be hard. I wanted to share one of my FO’s from the month of May, my bittersweet shrug.
Bittersweet shrug
Sweet, because it looks beautiful with the green dress I found at the big W. Sweet, because it looks just like how I imagined it would in my head.
Bittersweet shrug
Sweet because the back lies flat when my arms are down and there are no bat wings.
Bittersweet shrug
Bitter because I finished it on May 3.

  1. Amanda, I am so sorry to hear that you are going through a rough patch. I, of all people, can understand how hard it is to talk about things and to remain optimistic. If you ever need someone to talk to, please know I’m here and I am a very good listener. I love you sweetie – if there is anything I can do, PLEASE let me know.

  2. At least up is on the flip side of down. Hopefully you’ll hit an upswing soon!

I absolutely love the shrug. I’m looking for things like that to wear after I have #2 for the cooler months – that may be just the thing!

  3. Love the shrug – it fits perfectly and looks like it was made for that dress. Sorry to here things aren’t going great – it must be something in the air. I hope the longer sunny days bring you happiness, love and light.
