I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to look outside and see all that beautiful snow. (This maybe because I didn’t have to shovel it. The plow guy did. Even got him to clean around my car this time.)
The kids where having a ball playing outside all weekend. Allysa had enough this morning after being out for 1/2 hour, and it was just Corra and Bryce for a while. Once when I peeked out at them I caught them chasing the snow shooting out of the neighbors snowblower. (If that doesn’t make since imagine kids playing in a lawn sprinkler. Now replace the sprinkler with snow.) All I could do was laugh.
We had a fun weekend, and the kids and I enjoyed the extra day off from school. But they better have school tomorrow, I have some shopping left to do!
stunning photos! Love the almost monochrome with the bits of colour from the coats…wish we had some snow!
Yup, we got a bunch of it as well!!
Boy does that ever bring back memories from when we lived in Upper Bucks Co. and had 22 inches of snow one year. The boys were 3 and 1 and all we had to have was a card board box and a small hill. We had a blast. The boys still love snow to this day. My 25yr old lives in Alaska and is snow boarding now. Isn’t it funny how the seeds of a happy childhood can grow into so much more later in life?
A snow day! What fun. (I love your snowmen on your blog header, too!)
The snow looks like so much fun.
Thanks for the visual for us snow-impaired people. 😉 Frost on the grass is as good as it gets around here.
Oh how fun! There is something magical about playing outside in the first snowfalls of the season – of course, by Feb. & Mar. we might be a bit jaded about it. 😉 We received quite a bit over the weekend as well – definitely adds to the holiday spirit!
I’ll have to bring The Squid to visit you next year so he can see some snow!!
The kids sure enjoyed it, looks like. Great photos! I used to love snow when I was younger, as a skier, I couldn’t wait for winter. Now it’s somewhat different, oh to be young again…ciao
So much snow – so much fun and what a sweet plow guy 🙂
Glad you finally got some snow! The kids look like they had a blast. Have a wonderful Holiday!
How fun! I miss snow days. Not much of that in sunny Flroida.
Merry Christmas! Hugs
